Content Creator Assistant

Position Purpose 

Content Creator Assistant is responsible for producing high-quality, engaging, visual content that communicates Project HOPE’s humanitarian impact acrossUkraine, Poland, and Moldova. Through photography, videography, graphic design, and multimedia production, the position supports the organization’scommunications strategy, strengthens brand visibility, demonstrates program results, and enhances engagement with donors, partners, media, and the public. The role ensures that all visual materials align with Project HOPE’sbranding, safeguarding, and ethical storytelling standards while effectively communicating the needs, experiences, and resilience of the communities served.  

Main Responsibilities

Visual Content Creation: 

•  Capture high-quality photo and video content from the field to support storytelling, donor visibility, and media campaigns.  
• Produce short videos, interviews, reels, and animations that highlight the impact of Project HOPE’s programs. 
• Create branded visual assets including infographics, digital banners, event materials, social media visuals, and presentation templates.  
• Develop visual content for newsletters, reports, press releases, social media, presentations, promotional materials, etc. 

Editorial and Ethical Standards:  

• Ensure all visual content adheres to Project HOPE’s brandingguidelines, safeguarding policies, and ethical storytelling standards.  
• Obtain informed consent from individuals featured in photos or video content.  
• Work closely with the Communications Manager to ensure content supports strategic messaging and campaign goals.    

Collaboration & Coordination:  

• Coordinate with field teams to plan and execute content collection visits.  
• Collaborate with the Monitoring & Evaluation, Program, and Partnerships teams to produce visuals that support key indicators and reporting. 

Educational background: Degree or professional certification in Photography, Visual Media, Journalism, Communications or related field 

Language Skills : Fluency in English and Ukrainian.

Years of Experience:  

• Minimum 1 year since the degree was awarded of experience in field photography, preferably within the humanitarian or NGO sector.  
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, storytelling-driven photo and video content under challenging conditions.  
• Experience working in complex or conflict-affected environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with donor regulations and visibility guidelines is desirable.  
• Advanced user of photo and video equipment.
